Queens Village was founded in 1640 as “Little Plains.” A Railraraod station was built in 1837, which brought new residents and businesses. Many moved to this neighborhood to be less crowded.
Two subsections -- Bellaire and Hollis Hills -- are within this neighborhood. Hollis Hills is an affluent neighborhood with homes nearly $1.5 million. Many of these charming homes that were built in the 1920s and 1930s are still there today.
