Our location is very convenient for students that attend Columbia University.
Is this location convenient for LIC or Astoria residents?
The facility is located in the heart of Long Island City, which is ideal for Astoria residents. This also includes Roosevelt Island residents.
What size storage units do you have?
We have storage units ranging from as small as 5x3x8 to10x20x8 for residential tenants. We also cater to a wide variety of commercial tenants with units ranging from 10×25 up to 3500 sqft
How much does a storage unit cost?
Storage rates vary by size, Starting at just $39.00 for a 5x3x8 up to $589.00 for a 10×20. For units larger than 10×20 I would recommend calling our facility for up to date pricing
Do you offer month-to-month storage?
We only offer month to month contracts
Is the facility climate controlled?
The facility is temperature controlled.
What are your access hours?
Our operating hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Is the facility secure?
The facility has 24/7 cameras throughout the property, which is also monitored from a central station. The property has a fire suppression system that is also monitored from an off-site central system. We also have unique elevator codes for all individual tenants for an extra layer of protection when accessing their units.
Do you offer moving services too?
We also have our own moving company, Moishes Moving Systems, which allows customers a more convenient way to take advantage of any promos and specials while using both services.
How do I reserve a unit?
There are a few options when reserving units. You can do it online, by telephone or you can simply walk into the facility and our staff can accommodate all new potential tenants.
Can I store a vehicle/car/motorcycle?
We do not offer any motorcycle or car storage, We also do not offer any type of storage for gas or electric scooters or electric bicycles.
What items are not allowed in storage?
We do not offer any storage for any type of food, whether canned or dry. Any gas related items must have no gas in the tanks. Flammable items such as snowblowers, lawnmowers, and propane tanks are strictly prohibited from storage.
How many elevators do you have?
We have 2 large passenger elevators that accommodate both passengers and carts which makes loading and unloading items very convenient. We also have a large freight elevator for any oversized items.
What kind of equipment do you use for moving items?
We have plenty of loading carts/dollies for all customers to use freely within the property. We also have hand jacks, power jacks, and a forklift if necessary.
